Okay. Need an honest answer. I've owned a GT 3.2, test driven another. Also, I've recently driven a 156 GTA. Despite having the same engine, the GT feels more lively. In addition, the GTs have had the standard exhaust, while the 156s had Wizards. What's going on?

Never had an issue with turbo lag in a 20v turbo. Just keep the engine above 5k when shifting up.

Personally, I would do the basics first before considering an engine rebuild: 1. Fresh synthetic oil and filter, 2. Clean or replace the plugs, 3. Check ignition timing, 4. Check valve clearances. 5. Fresh 99 octane fuel. Next step would be to clean or rebuild the carb. Nice car and better looking than the Mk2 but only 85 Bhp versus 96 Bhp.

I use dairy milk caramel 😂 engine heat melts it down and it hardens again when it cools

Thats powdered metal.. that engine may require some assembly.. "but its already assembled!" Don't be too sure about that..
